Having returned to the depressing workplace, I realized that there are some must-know skills/techniques that are vital for survival in the workplace. Below are some of my favourites.
1) The Tai-chi 18 Strokes (太极十八式)This forms the most basic entry level for any newbie in the workplace. Definitely a skill worth learning.
2) The Qian-kun Stance (乾坤大挪移)This stance works in a way that is similar to the Tai-chi 18 strokes, except that it is of a higher level than the Tai-Chi 18 strokes as it can transfer/shift the work and responsibility from a person to another (or across departments).
3) Thousand Buddha in the Temple(万佛朝宗)For this technique to work effectively, it can only be used sparingly. Because this technique requires the user to flare up upon being provocated and throw a huge tantrum. If the technique is seldom used, it will be able to achieve a better impact.
Calling all other kungfu masters. Please visit http://theicyprincess.blogspot.com/2007/08/kungfu-skills-for-workplace.html
for more info on the various martial arts styles and share your sect's kungfu styles with me.
But sad to say, having mastered all these kungfu skills still does not guarantee a lifetime survival in the workplace. So be forewarned and practice at your own risk.
Wahahaha niak niak niak...
